The Rockin' River Music Festival is a 3-day country festival located in Mission, BC. We started working with Rockin' River back in 2009 when we built their first online ticketing system, which they used for two years. Ever since we have been a technology partnering choosing their current ticketing system, getting them set up on Google Apps, and helping with any and all technology related needs of the company.
We had been watching Rockin' River stats for a while and their mobile user based continued to grow above 75%. The old site still looked great on mobile, but with the responsive site design trend, we knew it was time for an upgrade. We designed a beautiful theme that helps to showcase their lineup, camping and tickets. We then implemented the design in Wordpress, which allows anyone on the team to update the content and post new artists, lineup times and manage their tickets. The site was then integrated with their online ticketing system to make the transition from the website to the shopping cart as smooth as possible.
The Riverfest site was launched in June 2013. The Wordpress theme was developed with the Roots.io base theme along with the Bootstrap front-end framework.
After the website redesign project, we moved all of their email hosting to Google Apps. The Riverfest team has also been taking advantage of the Google Docs platform to manage all of their spreadsheets and other business docs, helping to connect their distributed team.
