We have been working with the team over at ThoughtFarmer and Openroad for years. They have an amazing team of designers on staff that created a beautiful site refresh and we were brought on to implement the design into their existing Wordpress site.
The new design took a much more minimalist approach compared to the previous design. For this redesign we used the Bootstrap CSS framework, which allowed us to dramatically decrease the amount of layout code compared to the previous site. Along with using LESS and both css and javascript pre-compilation, we have been able to improve the overall site performance compared to the last theme.
The ThoughtFarmer site was launched in August 2014. The Wordpress theme was developed with the Roots.io base theme along with the Bootstrap front-end framework.
